Arts and Crafts, Drawing, and Design
Crafts and visual art offerings have always been popular in our afterschool, across ages and grades. In crafts classes such as World of Crafts, Jewelry Making, Knitting & Crocheting, and Storybook Design, children learn to use everyday items and creative materials in projects that are always beautiful and often functional as well.
In addition to crafts, we offer art classes where children can develop their skills in the use of traditional media such as pencil, paint, collage, and mixed media through classes like Art Start, Figure Drawing, Meet the Artist, and Photography. Students are encouraged to explore creativity in a supportive environment while building confidence in artistic expression, collaboration, and design.
Whether students are interested in hands-on crafting, visual storytelling, fiber arts, or creative experimentation, our visual art offerings are designed to help children discover new interests while creating projects they’re excited to bring home.
